Coaching for Improvement

This event is aimed at work-based learning practitioners who undertake peer observations and/or those who deliver higher level learning.

It will be delivered through 2 full day workshops, approximately 30 days apart to encourage application in the workplace. A combination of a personal action plan and a coaching diary provides the opportunity for delegates to implement a range of coaching and techniques with Assessors and Tutors. Delegates will be encouraged to personalise their approach and provide feedback at Workshop 2 of their successes and challenges.

During Workshop 2 a Making a Difference Coaching Initiative will be defined by each delegate to embed the learning and encourage on-going application back in the workplace. An opportunity for delegates to share outcomes generated from these MaD Coaching Initiatives will be created at the Teaching, Learning and Assessment Conference in March 2017.

The course will be run in 4 different venues and there are only 12 places available at each venue.
