The EWC shares information about their updated Code for registrants, as well as additional guides to support the Code, and information about an event in October.
Revised Code of Professional Conduct and Practice published
If you’re registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), it’s really important you take a look and familiarise yourself with revised Code which came into effect on 1 September 2025. It’s a key document as it sets out the standards, behaviours, and values expected of you as an education practitioner.
To help you understand and embed the Code in to your practice, we have created a range of supporting resources, which are available on the EWC website.
New and updated guides to support mental health and wellbeing
The EWC has published a new good practice guide aimed at helping support learners’ and young people’s mental health and wellbeing. The guide provides practical advice on how to support learners and young people with their mental health and wellbeing. They have also recently updated their good practice guide on registrants’ mental health and wellbeing.
