The Welsh Government is committed to working with organisations in response to their growing interest in engaging with Apprenticeships to recruit and train their staff.

Work is underway to create future Apprenticeship Workforce Plans as well as the development of new Apprenticeships. As part of this the Welsh Government is hosting three regional events to fully understand how they can support the training needs and apprenticeship requirements.

To establish how your organisation can make the most of the apprenticeships currently on offer, the National Training Federation for Wales is working with Welsh Government to facilitate introductions between the public and private sector and Apprenticeship providers. These events will allow organisations to quickly access apprenticeships, either for new recruits or as part of career development for their existing workforce, especially at the higher levels.

The events will focus on the delivery of apprenticeship programmes, allowing delegates to talk directly to Apprenticeship providers across Wales to understand the provision and delivery on offer as well as having the opportunity to discuss specific apprenticeship requirements and additional training needs.

The events will be funded by the Welsh Government and organised by the National Training Federation for Wales (NTfW).

The Apprenticeship Programme is funded by the Welsh Government with support from the European Social Fund.
