Join Learning and Work Institute’s 2026 Adult Learners’ Week campaign partnership, a national celebration of lifelong learning taking place from 21–27 September right across Wales.

The annual festival is organised in partnership with Welsh Government and presents a special opportunity for people to embrace new opportunities to learn, seek new connections and information, whilst showcasing the powerful impact of lifelong learning on individuals, projects, and organisations Wales.

Organisations across multiple sectors are invited to join the campaign’s network of partners throughout September, as well as during the focus week, to support and champion the value of lifelong learning across Wales. By joining, you can deliver special events, tasters, courses, and resources, showcase your provision and projects, and celebrate inspiring adult learning stories.

You can find out more information about Adult Learners’ Week on the Learning and Work Institute’s website: Adult Learners’ Week – Learning and Work Institute. To register your interest in the campaign, complete the form and a member of L&W will be in touch.

Additionally, applications are open for the Adult Learners’ Week Innovation Fund 2026. A small number of grants are available to support campaign activities across Wales, enabling providers to deliver engaging events and promotional activity during the official week and throughout September.

L&W welcomes proposals for the creation of free bitesize tasters, learning events, outreach activity, masterclasses, open days, and learner-voice activities, with a funding application deadline of Friday 3 July 2026.
