SkillsFest24 returns equipping staff with the vocational skills to reach success at local, national and international skills competitions.

The series of events and workshops will showcase a wide range of vocational skills and knowledge, from Health and Social Care to Additive Manufacturing through to Cloud Computing and Hairdressing.

Designed to help professional practitioners, assessors, employees and tutors, the sessions will share valuable insights from international experts who are leaders in their fields.

The aim is to equip participants with the skills and knowledge needed to elevate their practice and bring global standards back to the workplace.

How to get involved?

Join a Skills Competition Wales 2025 Briefing Session which provides an introduction to the skills competitions being hosted locally in Wales in February 2025. The sessions offer practitioners the opportunity to hear first hand the competition insights and how best to prepare competitors for the competition.

For more detailed information on the available competitions and how to get involved, join the ‘Competition Introduction Workshop’, an hour-long session online on the 24 October. An opportunity to learn how to prepare apprentices and learners for competitions, what to expect throughout the competition cycle, and how your organisation can benefit from participating. The end goal of this session is you’ll walk away with a detailed roadmap on how to get involved.
