Qualifications Wales is reviewing how future qualifications can best support the new Curriculum for Wales and is also looking for learners to join their ‘Vocational/Work-Based Learner Group’ to talk with the learners and understand the challenges they face when studying vocational qualifications.

New Curriculum for Wales

Have your say: non-GCSE qualifications to support the new Curriculum for Wales.

Qualifications Wales is reviewing how future qualifications can best support the new Curriculum for Wales. More specifically, we’re looking at which qualifications should be available alongside GCSEs, for learners aged 14 to 16.

We’re looking at all non-GCSE qualifications such as Food Safety, Sports & First Aid, the World of Work, Career Development, plus many more.

We’re asking everyone with a vested interest – learners, employers, parents/carers, educational professionals and the public – to have their say on the skills, assessment and use of digital technology in these qualifications.

If you’d like to take part, complete our survey which is live until Monday 31st January 2022. Please note, we have a dedicated survey for learners only – if you’re a learner, please complete the survey. This will also run until Monday 31st January 2022.
