‘Going Places’ sector review of Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and Catering
On Friday 3 March, we published our report of the findings of our ‘Going Places’ sector review of Travel, Tourism, Hospitality and Catering.
Our review identified some issues in the structure, range, content and assessment of Hospitality and Catering qualifications currently offered in Wales.
So, we’re making proposals for new Made-for-Wales Hospitality and Catering qualifications, and we’d like to hear your thoughts in a consultation that launches on the same day.
For more information about the ‘Going Places’ review and the consultation, join our webinar on Wednesday 15 March at 1600.
This webinar will provide information on the report findings and further details about our proposals for Hospitality and Catering qualifications.
If you’d like to find out more and ask questions, register for the webinar now.
Qualified for the Future
As part of our Qualified for the Future reform work, we’re reimagining the full range of qualifications available to 14- to 16-year-olds in Wales.
Alongside co-creating the future GCSE offer, we’ve been looking at what else is needed to ensure a coherent and inclusive qualifications offer that will support the ambitions of the Curriculum for Wales.
The proposals outline our vision for qualifications that provide equality of opportunity, and enabling all learners to achieve, progress, and enjoy their education. This consultation is a chance for you to Have Your Say on our proposals and be part of the national conversation on how learners can become Qualified for the Future.
If you’d like to find out more or ask questions about our proposals for the Full 14-16 Offer, join our webinar on Wednesday 29 March at 1600.
