Behind every successful adult learner there are tutors and mentors committed to delivering lifelong learning, contributing to future generations, and empowering individuals and communities to transform their lives through education.

The annual Inspire! Tutor Awards are coordinated by Learning and Work Institute in partnership with the Welsh Government, Colleges Wales, NTfW, the National Centre for Learning Welsh, Universities Wales, and the Adult Learning Partnership Wales.

The awards present a special opportunity to say thank you to the valued contribution of tutors and mentors; don’t miss your chance to put an inspiring individual forward for an Inspire award by the closing date of Monday 15 January 2024.

Who can be nominated?
Learning and Work Institute are inviting nominations on behalf of exceptional tutors in Wales whose dedication, knowledge and teaching skills have given adults the confidence and motivation to participate in learning and transform their lives. Nominated individuals will demonstrate a commitment to go over and above to support adult learners in their education and career pathways, and overall wellbeing.

Submit an entry for a tutor or mentor from the following settings:
Higher Education, Further Education, Workplace Setting, Community Education, Welsh for Adults or School or any other educational setting.

How to submit your entry:
1. Read the Guidance document before you start your nomination.

2. Complete the Inspire! Tutor Awards nomination form.

3. Send your completed nomination form to inspire@learningandwork.org.uk. If you have any supporting documents, please send them together in the same email.

Alternatively, entries can be made using the online nomination form.
